Wow, things have been so busy here. It
reminds me of the old adage: The hurrier I go, the behinder I get!! Not good
English, but it hits the point. First, let me say that I had to spend three
days in the hospital with a severe attack of Diverticulitis. I am home, but
still very weak, so I am just doing the necessary things.
is going well. We dropped down in attendance. One of our families from
Juarez has decided to spend weekends there and Thursdays with us. There are
5 in their family plus they were bringing 5 to 8 folk that lived in their
neighborhood. Also, one of our ladies, Liz, is out as she just had a baby,
so that is another 3 we are missing. So our attendance is down even though
the Lord is blessing. We have a new family from one of the missions in
Juarez, plus a family of another of our faithful members has been attending
regularly. So, we are prayerfully hopeful that all will get back to “normal”
and we can start growing again. Our folks have already collected $10,000
dollars toward a building we can call our own.
I have been very busy
with the Institute classes. We now have 6 students with prospects of 2 to 4
new ones for the coming school year. My classes are the book of Romans and
this modular I also taught Doctrine of the Church, Doctrine of Angels and
the Devil. My coming class with be the Doctrine of the Last Times.
Both of our young men, Jose Mares and Angel Ruiz, missionaries to Argentina
are reporting souls saved and growth in both churches. In fact, Bro. Mares
has started services in a home of one of his members with hopes it will
develop into another Church there. Lucio Marquez and his wife will be
leaving soon for Colimas, Mexico. Bro. Noel Reyes and Claudia are having
souls saved in Veracruz. Bro. Israel reports souls saved in Torreon. It is
wonderful to see our young couples go out and do something significant for
the Lord. All this is possible because of your sacrifice to support our
ministry for the Lord. This is rewards multiplied for your account.
Yours for Mexican Souls,
Garland and Charlene Hamilton
