Thank you for your prayers, which God has graciously answered. We asked you to pray for the International Baptist Church as we lost our song leader and his family who transferred to New Zealand.  They will be greatly missed, but God has already supplied a new song leader for that congregation who transferred in!  Pray for Joshua, this is his first song leading experience, and we appreciate his willing heart.

Jan has several women coming to Bible study in Trench Town on Tuesday afternoons who are not saved.  She is using the Awana curriculum, and they are memorizing the verses, and participating in the lessons, but they are reluctant to commit their lives to the Lord.  They understand that they are living lives of sin, and some are not convinced that God will be able to set them free, while others simply desire to continue in their sin.  Please pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to work in their hearts, and they will trust Him.

We are training our first SMITE group in Trench Town!  These young people will have the opportunity to work not only in Trench Town, but also at Grace Baptist Church in Mandeville, Jamaica this summer.  Please pray that their hearts will be tender and receptive and they will surrender to God’s call for full time service.  We have slowly been building up leaders in the church.  We now have a teen responsible for bringing the missionary story to the children every Sunday.  This week we will be starting a puppet ministry.  We are so thankful for the willing hearts of the youth in Trench Town.

We realize that people all over are experiencing financial difficulties, and we appreciate your faithfulness to God in the midst of trying times.  We want you to know that we pray daily for each church and family that supports our ministry, and if you have any special prayer needs, please do not hesitate to let us know.
