MAY PRAYER LETTER

Dear Friends,

How we thank God for you and your continued prayer for us and the work of the Gospel among the Seminole Indians of South Florida! April was an exciting month for us. It was designated “Missions Month”. The whole month was scheduled around Acts 1:8, But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Each week a guest speaker came to represent each of the places where Jesus said we were to be witnesses. Then the month was concluded with a revival meeting. Our people were challenged to reach out from Jerusalem to the uttermost part of the world. They are excited about the possibility of supporting missionaries in obedience to the Great Commission.

As we head into the summer months we are preparing for a Vacation Bible School to be held in June and a “Kid’s Krusade” to be held later in the summer. Please pray for a harvest of souls through these outreach ministries. Other than our Sunday School there is virtually no outreach to the young people on the reservations. We are trusting in God’s promise as recorded in Psalm 126:6, He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

We would also like to ask you to pray that God would help us find ways to reach out into the community here at Big Cypress. Recently I was asked to come and speak at a Tribal banquet. I have also been asked to come and pray at the graduation ceremonies of our reservation school. It is through these kinds of events that we are able to meet people, make friends, and impact the community for the Lord.

Again, thank you for praying for us, please don’t stop.

For Seminole souls,
