Dear partners in prayer,
Praise the Lord! After a year and a half of praying and searching for a piece of property, our folks are excited to have their very own land. It is located on a main street that travels through five neighborhoods and is situated on a corner lot. The piece is both visible and spacious.
Across the street is the neighborhood cancha, or basketball court.
The young people gather here in the afternoons for a game of basketball, soccer or volleyball.

you can see we have our work cut out for us as we begin clearing the lot and preparing the ground for laying the foundation. Much of the work will be done by hand and what a blessing to see many of our own young people readily volunteering to help out. As you pray and the Lord provides, Iglesia Bautista Vida Nueva will begin constructing their very own building this fall.
Other Highlights
The first week of each month is Chick Tract Visitation at our church. For five consecutive days salvation tracts are distributed in a predetermined area of our city. On each day a different Chick Tract is passed out among the homes visited. On the last day the plan of Salvation is presented personally to each home with an opportunity to accept Christ and an invitation to our church. One grandmother and a teenager were saved last week. The Lord is continuing to bless the ladies’ meeting with new ladies visiting each month and a lady named Rosario, a mother of two, accepted Christ as her Savior during our May meeting. She has been attending since December. Pray for her growth as a new Christian as well as the other ladies.
Family Life Corner
Nicky (9 months): Experiencing the bumps and bruises that come from growing up.
Davy ( 3 yrs): Holding regular conversations with little sister even though he doesn't get much response back.
Jesse (5 yrs ): Always volunteering to make the Kool-Aid.
Benny (7 yrs): Developing a strong desire to help others.
Zachy (9 yrs): Is a good example of a book worm.
Heidi: Ready for school vacation to begin with boys.
Steve: Goes fishing for men and fish at the same time with the father of his children’s friend.
