Campaign Time
We have had two major campaigns this summer with lots of little projects going on as well. In June we had our annual medical Mission trip. This was a huge success as we set up in five different locations giving the gospel to 1,631 patients along with meeting several medical needs.

Our second major campaign was Juntos/Together 2010: Made to Love. This is a student mission trip/conference. This year’s theme “Made to Love” was just what we all needed. Jeff preached the conference and teamed up with our youth pastor David to lead the campaign. We had 43 “gringos” from the States come over to team up with around 150 Salvadorans and 5 Nicaraguans for a packed week of serving and growing.

During Juntos/Together we taught English at a College campus outside of town for three days (witnessing to 80 students), went to two different elementary schools (giving the gospel to 480 children and youth), visited an elderly home and spent a day playing and loving on orphans. The evenings were filled with our conference where we were challenged by God’s word and worshipped in English and Spanish. Two of our evenings we went out to knock on doors inviting the neighbors out for a movie and drama followed by a short presentation of the gospel.

Our small projects included getting our residency for another year and PTL…we got it!! We also saw the completion of a new church building in Aguilares and was blessed to be a part of the building dedication Sunday (click here for PDF file) and Jeff made a short trip over to Guatemala to preach in our Metro church over there.
News
Emily had all her test ran and we finally feel like we are getting some good answers to her digestive problems. She began a new diet and new medication and it seems to be working. She also flew over June 15th and we have been enjoying having her home and as always she is a huge help to our ministry.

We have some big goals for next year we would ask you to be in prayer about. We would like to raise enough money to buy Pastor Manual a bus (he pastors two churches and is starting two more), land for another church building and the church building itself in Zacatecoluca. Would you make an investment in eternity and help us raise the needed funds?
Bus - $11,000 Land - $15,000 Building - $12,000

As always, it’s a privilege for us to represent you here in El Salvador,
Jeff and Paula
