Jan. & Feb. 2008 Dear Pastors and Praying Friends, We enter the new year with great expectations for our ministry in Costa Rica. We are looking forward to the next few months of furlough. We will be in several supporting churches and in some new churches. When we came home on furlough we asked God for 20 new supporting churches, we now need only 10 more new churches. Please pray with us about this need. We will be traveling to Costa Rica in March with a team of about 30 young people from Lake Mead Christian Academy. We will be spending several days canvassing and surveying the area where we are praying about starting a new work when we return to Costa Rica. We will also be doing a park ministry with Bible clubs, mimes, street preaching, sports and evangelism in this city. We will also be doing some work at the Seminary and helping the mission in La Guacima. We are so blessed to be given the opportunity to accompany this team to Costa Rica who has partnered with us in this ministry. We are praying that God will open doors, lead and direct us as we pray about starting a new church in this area. Please pray with us about this opportunity. The church in San Antonio de Coronado is getting ready for their annual Vacation Bible School the middle of the month. The theme this year is The King’s Palace. We always have several dedicated teens and adults that take the week off to help in this ministry. They are also planning their 14th anniversary celebration. Please pray for these two ministries. They are always times of great harvest. We will be spending the next few months visiting churches in Texas. We will be reporting in several supporting churches and will be presenting our work in some new churches. Please pray for traveling mercies and God’s guidance in these coming months.
