May 2008 Prayer Letter 

Dear Friends in Christ,

In April Calixto Sepullveda celebrated his 86 birthday and his 50-year in the ministry. You may not be familiar with this name so let me remind you. After four years in Tampico my family and I moved to Monterrey Mexico to begin our life¹s work. There was a family man working in a factory and attending a small mission in a colony named Moderna. I asked this man to help me build our first church in this metropolis city.

For 12 years Calixto and I labored together in building TWELVE churches and missions in the area starting with Bible Baptist Church in Colonial Martinez in Monterrey and including a large self supporting church in the Moderna. In 1972 Calixto became the first Mexican missionary to the USA. He was called to a church in the Chicago area. Since that time he has pastured churches in several states and especially in the Rio Grande Valley. He is still active in the ministry with the Second Baptist Church in Harlingen, Texas. All eleven of Calixto and Lucha¹s children are in the service the Lord. We are proud to have been associated with this man of God.

All the materials for DVBS have been received, packaged and are being distributed to the many pastors and full time workers who will make preparations to conduct over 90 DVBS this year. Pray that many boys and girls will receive Christ as their personal Savior. Thanks to all who have helped finance these DVBS.

Beloved we are praising God for your faithfulness in prayers and financial support toward our ministry. There is much work going on that we do not have room enough to mention. Our printing ministry is going great and our Bible Colleges age doing great. The churches and missions are growing and souls are being saved. Praise God!
