Prayer Letter

November/December 2007

Dear Friends,

We had started a children's program about six months ago on Tuesday nights here in the Valley of Peace.  It's exciting to start something new and be hopeful to see kids come to Christ. We have puppets, songs, game time, and an object lesson to grab their attention. We waited patiently praying for God to give us fruit. Then all of a sudden it's like the light went on. We have seen 9 children accept Christ as their Savior. Our children are very shy, so we ask them to bow their heads and close their eyes and if anyone would like us to come to their home and show them in the Bible how to get saved, raise your hand. It has made a world of difference. Then after they have said the sinner's prayer, the next service they come forward and stand there without shame.

We had the privilege to have a close friend come and visit us this November that is a professional photographer. We had a photo Sunday, and encourage the entire family to come for pictures. We had over 200 in attendance.  It is almost unheard of for our people to have a family photo. For Christmas they will receive a framed 8 x 10 family photo. To top the day off, we had a hot-dog throw. It was a blessing to have two people raise their hands for salvation. What a day!! God is working in Belize.

Pastor Salvador Gavara, Ismael's Pastor from El Salvador, came and spoke at our church for evangelistic services the first weekend of December. The church was packed out every night. It was great seeing new faces, some old faces, and so many adults. It has been an answer to prayer to see more men in our services. Thank you all for your faithfulness to pray.

God has given us a great year with so many blessings. From our home to yours, may God bless you this Christmas and New Year. We know we could not do what God has called us to do ... without you.

All for Him,
