| Dear Pastor and Friends: |
August 10, 2010 |
It is our joy to
report to you that eleven souls have trusted Christ so far this year.
There was one saved in VBS at Bethel last week, three saved in
children’s church at the Idabel church Sunday and two saved in VBS in
July at the Escrito work (Navajo Indians).
As I may have mentioned to some of you already, the Escrito work is now
a mission out of the Idabel church. The missionary that was there for
several years has resigned, and since Cala and I started the work, it
has reverted back to our ministry. Our son, Mark (pictured below), and I
will be leaving Friday to visit the churches we started among the
Navajos. Please be praying for this trip. Our desire is to start
encouraging the Escrito work toward being indigenous.
The Bethel work had a good revival last week with attendance in the
forties. Bro. Sonny at Swink tells me that they doubled their attendance
last Sunday. Please be praying for both these mission works that they
can also become indigenous. What we really need are more families that
are willing to support the work with their time, talent, tithes and
offerings.
Thank you again for your part in our ministry as we continue to work
together in establishing independent, fundamental Baptist churches among
the Native Americans.
Yours in Christ,
 Bob and Cala Williams
