Dear Pastor and Friends:
October 4, 2007
It is our
joy to report that two precious souls were saved since our last letter, and four
baptized. I had to call a plumber to do some work at the Idabel church so
invited him to the Sunday services. Shane and his wife, Jacqueline, began
attending. Jacqueline is among those who accepted the Lord and was baptized
along with her husband. Bye the way, Shane wouldn’t accept any payment for the
plumbing work he did.
God is also blessing our
young people both at Idabel and Swink. Bro. Eric Rowell teaches the youth
department. He and his wife, Tana, are planning to take our young people to some
youth rallies this year. We hope to have two van loads.
Bro. Sonny Dense has been
our mission’s intern at Swink for the last three years. Starting this Sunday he
and his wife, Donna, will be handling the ministry there. I believe they have
learned the ropes and will do a good job.
As I have mentioned
before, we are not taking furloughs. However, we are able to report to you at
your convenience. We can fly free of charge (our son works for Delta) and would
love to visit your church at any time. If you e-mail us, please put in the
remarks your church name and state, as we get a lot of junk e-mail, and I don’t
open all of it. If we are not at home when you phone, please leave a message on
the answering machine, and I will return your call.
Thank you again for your part
in the Lord’s work in the old Choctaw Nation in Southeastern Oklahoma.

Yours in Christ,
Your Missionaries,

Bob and Cala Williams
PS Please continue to pray for Cala’s health. She thanks those of you
who sent beautiful cards and encouraging messages for her birthday.
PPS We now are setting up to mail letters more often via e-mail. If you would
like to receive e-mail updates, please send us your e-mail address.
